Episode summary | Laura McGoldrick

Laura McGoldrick has built herself an incredibly versatile career in the media. She has worked as a broadcaster, presenter, radio host, MC and even a part time actress!

She has been a host of the Cricket Show, Holden Golf World, NZ Herald Focus as well as most of Sky’s major sporting events, and held breakfast radio roles at Hauraki and The Hits.

Her love of sport was cultivated in an incredible household in Christchurch that saw some of New Zealand’s greatest sporting heroes as well as kiwi TV royalty seen as everyday people.

Along the way she married to Black Cap Martin Guptill and worked at two Cricket World Finals that he played in and lost! She’s received death threats and been subjected to horrendous abuse by virtue of being a woman in a male-dominated field.

Now holding down a role as host of The Hits 3pm Pick-Up she is a great example of a kiwi who can do it all. Laura is exceptional company, funny, witty, full of energy and an engaging storyteller.
