David Galbraith is a world-renowned mind coach, who specialises in performance psychology in sport and business.
Most recently he has been Performance Psychologist for the Japan rugby team, but for over 20 years he was a clinical psychologist before transitioning into sport.
He has been mind coach to top athletes like Dame Lisa Carrington, Sarah Walker and Laura Langman, as well as the All Blacks Sevens. He was with also with the Chiefs for 11 years including when they won back-to-back Super Rugby titles.
But despite working with such high-profile athletes and teams he remains the ghost in the machine - due to his hidden influence over many of NZ's top athletes.
He talks the talk and walks the walk, with a thoughtful, measured and unique outlook on life which is why he gets so much respect.
