From 1999 to 2003 Priscilla Duncan seemed destined to be New Zealand Football’s next big thing in women’s football. She debuted for the Football Ferns in 2003 and attended the Women’s World Cup in 2007 in New Zealand’s return to the big stage.

And then it was over.

She went on to marry the player that took her position in the national team and have a career working for the Oceania Football Confederation and FIFA in Zurich, including seven world cups.
