E110 | Luke Kemeys
Episode summary | Luke Kemeys
Luke Kemeys is the driving force behind Boys Get Paid – another member of The ACC – and a community of over 20,000 people with an active interest in the horse racing industry.
Boys Get Paid has grown from a group of five lads on Facebook who loved to back a winner to a community of avid racing and sports fans who don’t mind a beer and a bet. It provides a place for a punter to hang out with likeminded people as well as access to all the latest oil and some inside help before putting their money down.
But Luke is not just about big bets and a day on the punt. He’s also an award-winning Chartered Accountant through his accounting and advisory firm nextAdvisory, a social media enthusiast, and a podcaster helping everyday Kiwis with personal financial literacy through Keep The Change.
Luke is always on the go. He’s a sort after speaker in both the business community as well as the financial literacy space, he’s charitable with his time for good causes, and has a million tales to tell.
